Camera Calibration in MavisCtl

Before calibrating, the camera-placement and homebase-width parameters in mavis.ini must be configured for your setup. The camera should be mounted such that it tilts down about 30 degrees, but is not otherwise twisted.

Close any applications that are using mavis and load the client dll into MavisCtl by selecting File > Load dll from the menu. When the dll loads, the GUI controls for manually controlling mavis will appear. Click the "Calibrate" button. MavisCtl will display crosshairs marking the image center. Position homebase on the floor, fairly well centered in the image. Click the "Next" button. Calibration will run, and the results will display in the text area. Click the "Stop" button to exit calibration.
